Problem #1 Comments
Lack of bonding of the new snow to old snow layer was quite active today in Wolerine Bowl. As the clouds lifted during my tour, there were approximately 3 natural avalanches running on this layer and likely two more that were skier-triggered in this area. The average depth was small, about 4-8", but showed some cohesiveness.
Dug a quick pit and performed two ECTs, both failed on on the new/old snow interface at 7 taps (ECTN7). Cleaning and continuing the test revealed ECTN11 on the previous storm interface.

Comments
While small, the slides could be consequential in complex or steep terrain with unforgiving run outs.
