Snow Profile Comments
Heavy wind loading in south aspect of the superior ridge line. The lead of our group of 4 was breaking trail and caused the breakpoint below the skin track. Slab/crown broke about 14" down to the older snow surface. Decent propagation and cracking. This happened mainly on the south aspect of the ridge, but also on the north aspect though the slab breakpoint was smaller 5-6".
