Party triggered a slide from 50' away while on a ridge. No photo, but every east facing slope was producing shooting cracks.
The only photo was from a switchback onto a small test slope that produced a shooting crack.

Avalanche broke on top of a thick crust. I couldn't find any weak facets, but I suspect they were present due to the remote trigger, wide propagation both across and down the slope.
