Comments
The Wasatch could use more storms like this. Forget dawn patrols. Enjoyed Tirolean Kaiserschmarrn for breakfast, had proper tea while watching the World Cup Finals, then a light lunch while watching the ultrasonic snow depth sensors stack up. No traffic up the canyon. Saw two people. Skiing better than expected. Low expectations are the key to a happy life.
About 20 cm new on the PC ridgeline at 9000-10000 feet through 5 PM. Triggered a small but long running sluff in the trees on skiers left on the Wills Hill breakover. Sun crust served as the bed and it ran fairly quickly but was manageable. A gentle reminder of spring issues.
