Small slide on the ridge getting into PP1. Not a typical spot to see this type of activity. Didn't run very far since slope angle isn't steep. The cornicing up there is pretty large and it probably broke from a cornice fall overnight and ran about 50 feet. I'd score it as a SS-NC-R1-D1-I.
Other obs from the day were as forecasted and expected: sky was OVC with a handful of periods of BKN allowing riders to enjoy views of all the beautiful new snow. Snowfall rates averaged at S2 throughout the day although some periods were much heavier. HN in the morning was around 10"-14" at 9,000' (way deeper in wind loaded areas) and we picked up around 6" by the time we left at 2:30pm. Winds were moderate, gusting strong from WNW. In case you haven't heard, there's lots of snow available for transport :)
