Comments
Ski cuts on 35ish degree E and SE aspects at ridge top produced slow moving dry loose. These ran in a density change in the new snow, likely caused by the occasional light winds on ridges. The sun came out intermittently for an hour or so around noon, and seemed to bond the new snow even further. Slope testing on our second lap produced a shorter running dry loose, with less snow being entrained. The new snow seemed to bond quite well to the old MF surface, and it was difficult to find trace of a slab in the terrain we skied.
