Comments
Started the day a bit skeptical of avalanche terrain with the increased loading and hard crust layer under the fresh snow that we had been skiing on Friday. Kept skiing low angle terrain in the temptation zone. As we were coming across a meadow to start the final descent we stopped on a large flat zone approximately 50-75' above the crown and quickly noticed a powder cloud in the gully off to skiers left. Continued to stick to lowered angle terrain and give the gully edge some space.
Kudos to my partners for the excellent communication and discussions throughout the day.
