I remotely triggered this slide while performing a slope cut several hundred feet above on an adjacent low angle slope.
The slope cut did not produce any results on the immediate area I was going to ski and I did not hear any collapsing nor did I see any cracking.
I did not notice the avalanche until I was skiing 1/2 way down the slope. I looked on my right and saw the large and long running slide that ran all the way down to the flats below.
I estimate this slide to be 200' wide and 600' long. It broke along a shallow rocky area several hundred feet below the ridgeline on the PWL / new snow interface.
