Comments
I hiked and snowshoed on Broads to just below Blue Ice. Snow conditions were suncrusted with less than an inch of new snow on top.
Avalanches has occurred on Bonkers, Diving Board, and Blue Ice. The latter was most significant and had broken high in the cliff bands and ran over 1k vertical. The avalanches likely occurred during the warmth (Saturday) just before the Sunday cool down.
While significant the avalanches weren't huge when compared to what is likely to occurs later this month or in May during our usual glide avalanche cycle.
