Comments
Around 2:30 pm a group of three skied the SE slope of Mt. Wolverine. The first skier on the slope cut across the top of a steep roll and triggered a wet slide. 1 caught and carried, but was able to stay on top. They went for roughly a 200 vertical foot ride. The weather was mostly cloudy all day with multiple periods of intense sun and snow showers. The snow surface took on more heat than expected and ran on a firm crust under 6" of new snow. No one was hurt and the skier skied away from the slide.
