Comments
trigged a fresh wind slab on ski cut near the top of the chute this morning. Winds were generally W ish (run is W facing) but localized terrain allowed a bit of crossloading. Ran the length of the steeper section of the run - probably borderline not large enough to bury a skier but definitely enough to knock you off your feet and carry you.
Good reminder that even when on the windward side of a ridge, crossloading/terrain features can create slabs.
